PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
• Monitoring the operation of the unit(PSA & Compressor) on a regular basis is the best way how
to ensure a long life for your PSA Generator.
• This also ensures a constant and uninterrupted generation and supply of medical gases
produced(O2,MA4 &MA7)to the consumption points without technical breakdowns.
PM INTERVALS
• DAILY
• WEEKLY
• BIANNUALLY
• ANNUALLY
• EVERY 5 YEARS
COMPLETE LINE
DAILY MAINTENANCE
1.Daily inspection consist of:
• Every day simply observe the operation of the unit.
• Check purity and product consumption(purity 90%-95%) Product oxygen pressure
recommended(3.5-4bars)
• Verify that the temperatures displayed on the refrigeration dryer are okay.
• Make sure that the drain system is functioning properly-press test button.
2.Weekly inspection & Maintenance consist of:
• Check operation conditions of the air compressor(oil level, oil temperature, noice etc.)
• Check filters-Clogging
• With an air jet(max 2bar) blow from inside and outside the air compressor to remove all the dust.
• Blow out dust using the air jet in the air filer, air intake filter, fan filters and cooler aluminum
fins-be careful not damage the fins, when they bend due to side blowing it may cause them
blocking.
• Blow out dust from the psa control cabinet plc unit.
BIANNUALLY PM
This inspection of the psa unit consist of:
• Insert the coupling hose at the oil discharge port at the lower part of the oil tank, then
slowly open the gate valve in the hose to discharge the used oil.
• Clean inside the tank using rag then replace the new sigma fluid. The oil level sight
glass should be at green to show the level is okay.
• Replace the remaining parts i.e.; Oil filter, oil separator catridge, air filter, sigma intake
mat, foam filters and after cooler filters if there is need to.
• Inspect the screw motor belt.
• Clean the interior of the air compressor unit.
…CONTINUATION
• Inspect the psa; replace the precision filters and any other worn out part.
• Check all the valves and replace all worn out ones.
• Tighten and apply thread seal on the loose connections to avoid leakage
of product oxygen.
• Check all the regulators including the regulation station for medical air
and surgical air if available.
• Check and inspect the refilling booster station, perform leak test on the
flex hoses in the refilling manifold and tighten where necessary.
