Sustainable development

The goal of sustainable development is to satisfy current needs

without compromising the capacity of future generations to satisfy
their own. In order to guarantee that resources are managed in a
way that benefits both present and future generations, it entails
taking economic, social, and environmental concerns into account
when making decisions.
THREE Measures that the government uses to protect the
environment through a Sustainable Development plan.

Three measures the government would use are

Government regulations which enforce environmental laws to protect

the environment by setting limits on emissions, deforestation, and water
protection. Businesses and individuals must comply with these
standards to minimize their impact.
2..
Government offers financial incentives for adopting sustainable
practices, such as tax breaks for using renewable energy, subsidies
for eco-friendly products, and grants for conservation efforts, to
reduce environmental impact and promote long-term protection.
3..
Public education and awareness campaigns can also be used
because Government-led environmental awareness campaigns are
crucial for promoting sustainable behaviors, educating the public
on recycling, conservation, and energy efficiency.
What are two likely impacts on the environment if the government neglects
to put protective measures in place

Two likely impacts on the government if the government neglects

to put protective measures in place are

Deforestation and gas emission

deforestation
Deforestation: Lack of protective measures for forests can result in
increased deforestation, leading to the loss of important habitats for
wildlife.
Gas emission
Gas emissions, such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrogen oxides,
can contribute to air pollution. This pollution can lead to respiratory
problems, and existing health conditions.
Would you classify the government’s actions/ measures sources as Sustainable Development?
Explain your choice of answer.

We think that the government's actions are sustainable because it is

a plan that helps promote economic growth and environmental
protection this has been done by the government in showing with
the laws and regulations put in place to help our environment and
with the new creation of jobs to help with our economic status.
“ It is the duty of this
government to manage the

Bubble question resources of the country so

that you and your
grandchildren will enjoy the
fruits of our efforts.”
This statement highlights the responsibility of the government to ensure
sustainable management of resources for the benefit of future
generations. By making wise decisions and implementing effective
policies, the government can secure a prosperous and stable future for its
citizens. It emphasizes the importance of long-term planning and the
need to prioritize the well-being of future generations over short-term
gains. Ultimately, the government has a duty to act as stewards of the
country's resources in order to create a better tomorrow for all.
