LO: Automating Encryption using a spreadsheet.

Success criteria: Students can can create an automated encryption/decryption

spreadsheet.

Instructions: In this session I will discuss how we can automate our Atbash
cipher using a spreadsheet!
Automating the Atbash cipher
Automating encryption-programming a computer to do it for you-is much quicker
than doing it manually.

While the time taken to make the spreadsheet function correctly will initially
slow the process down, encrypting and decrypting a large number of long
messages is much easier with an automated solution.
Create the Cipher spreadsheet
The Atbash Cipher: automated encryption and decryption

You are going to create a spreadsheet that automates the encryption and
decryption of the Atbash Cipher.

Activity:

Go to todays lesson, open the Google doc, follow the instructions, ask for help if
your not sure what to do!

Turn in the Google doc and your spreadsheet when you have finished!
