What is GAP?
● Genre = the type of text it is: leaflet, magazine article, newspaper, report,
instruction booklet etc.

● Audience = age, gender, interests

● Purpose = persuade, inform, instruct, explain, advise, argue.


Around the room are different types of texts. See if
you can decide the GAP for each.
