 • SAP HANA cockpit is the main administration
tool for SAP HANA
• It is installed separately and runs on SAP
HANA Express Database
• It can also be installed as a tenant in an
existing HANA System

SAP HANA • Administrators can use the SAP

HANA cockpit to start and stop services, to
Cockpit 2.0 monitor the system, to configure system
settings, and to manage users and
authorizations.
• SAP HANA cockpit comes with integrated
Database Explorer
• Latest version available is SAP HANA Cockpit

Requirements Hardware Requirements

• Dedicated hardware requires a minimum of 16GB of RAM and
16GB of disk space
• On an existing HANA System follow sizing guidelines provided
in SAP Note 2780721
