Standards of ventilation:-
1. Cubic space :- Fresh air supply of 3000 Cu. ft . Per hour per person
2. Air change:-In living rooms there should be 2 or 3 air changes in
one hour; in workroom and assemblies 4 to 6 air changes
3. Floor changes :- optimum floor space required per person varies
from 50 to 100 sq. ft.

• AS OPEN DEFECATION PRACTICE IS NIL IN ALL THE TOTAL 44 HOUSES
• THERE FORE THERE ARE LESS CHANCES OF SPREAD OF INFECTIOUS
DISEASE
• TO AVOID OPEN DEFECATION PRACTICES, THE GOVERNMENT OF
INDIA HAS INTRODUCED A SCHEME KNOWN AS
SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN

INTERPRETATION
• In a total families of 44 about 22 families have open sullage and 22
families have closed sullage drainage.
• Open drainage may cause-
1) nuisance, unsightedness and unpleasant smell
2)breeding ground for flies and mosquitoes
3)chances of contamination of food
4)increase incidence of enteric and helminthic disease.

ANTENATAL AND POSTNATAL VISITS
• Assisted medical officer and health assisted (female) in conducting
antenatal and postnatal clinics at the subcenter
• The visits are carried by health worker female by tracking of all
pregnancies by name for scheduled ANC or PNC services
• make postnatal home visit at 0, 3, 7 and 42nd day for deliveries at
home and subcenter
• on 3, 7, and 42nd day for institutional delivery
