on April 4, 1965 in New York, USA in the family of
independent director Robert Downey Sr. Winner of
the "Oscar" award (2024), three-time winner of the
"Golden Globe" (2001, 2010, 2024), two-time winner
of the BAFTA award (1993, 2024). He began his
acting career as a child, playing in his father's film
"Squad" (1970). He became more famous after the
release of the film "Chaplin" (1992), in which he
played the main role of the legendary comedian.
