Crop recommendation,

Fertilizer recommendation
and disease detection
This project aims to develop a predictive
agricultural intelligence system leveraging
Introduction machine learning and data analytics to optimize
crop yield, fertilizer application and early disease
detection.
Problem statement
Crop disease detection: Early detection of crop diseases is essential to minimize yield losses and proper
management of the crop diseases before causing further havoc.
Fertilizer optimization: Inefficient use of fertilizers leads to environmental degradation, increased costs
and suboptimal crop growth.
Crop yield optimization: Due to varying environmental conditions, soil fertility and crop health farmers
find it difficult to maximize crop yields.
Aims and Enhance crop productivity and yield
Analyze soil composition and nutrient levels to determine
objectives suitable crops

Why is the problem

interesting
The problem of crop management, fertilizer optimization, and disease detection in
agriculture is inherently interesting and significant for several reasons:
o Technological Innovation: There are many of exciting prospects for innovation and
progress where agriculture and technology meet. Novel tools and methods for
tackling issues in crop management, fertilizer optimization, and disease identification
are provided by advancements in data analytics, machine learning, biotechnology,
and remote sensing.
o Food Security: Since most people on the planet depend on the productive production
of crops for their daily needs, agriculture is essential to ensuring global food security.
A stable food supply and maximum yields depend on effective fertilizer use, early
detection and mitigation of crop diseases, and optimal crop management techniques.
Future Work

Finally, the chapter offers suggestions for further

research to address unresolved questions, expand
upon the current finding and explore new avenues
for innovation in digital agriculture. This may
include recommendations for refining existing
methodologies, exploring new technologies or
investigating emerging trends in the field.
