Ideation: (Collection of Ideas):
Ideation is the creative process of generating, developing, and communicating new ideas. It
involves the formation of thoughts and mental images, ranging from concrete visualizations
to abstract concepts.
Company Introduction
Burque Corporation, Pakistan’s most innovative and digitally transformed distribution center
have core competence in sale and distribution with a huge network of salesmen. Its
conglomerate partners including Nestle Pakistan, Unilever Pakistan, Shan Foods, Shell, Red
Bull, Samsung, Techno, Bisconni, Britannia (Indian Brand), and many more rely on Burque
Corporation for sales.
User Story
The company has a huge network of order bookers and delivery men. They all take the orders manually on the book
and then share those details with FSE (Field sales executive) who is liable to record each order on Excel then those
orders after confirmation shared with WSO (Ware House officer). The WSO makes a DO (Delivery Order) and
shares it with the delivery man then the delivery man delivers goods on behalf of DOs to the customer. By the end of
the day sale reports are shared with corresponding principals and bonuses or incentives will be given to the Order
Booker and Delivery man on behalf of performance.

The accounts department will reconcile cashout flow and inflow every day by seeking help from numerous
employees. The account payable department then clears all the dues with respect to principals weekly.
Point of View Statment
Firstly, the sale and distribution process is quite hectic to handle on a larger scale with 90% - 95% manual intervention.

Inventory management is a huge challenge for WSO.


Performance evaluation of bottom-line employees is also difficult as there is no credible source which depicts whether they
meet KPIs or not i.e. minimum period at the customer location, products merchandising/ Arrangements on Fridge or cantola or
recks as per guideline and average number of shops cover per day.

Reconciliation of accounts itself is a time-consuming process that leads to late sitting and causes employee burnout.

to all of these requirements. SAP S/4 HANA seems the best way to address all those challenges by implementing
modules MM, SD, and FI.

As per the above statement, the mobile application with a web portal is the best way to track the order booker working in
real time.
Conclusion
Finlay, covering all phases of design thinking they have implemented SAP S/4 HANA for running inventory
management -MM, Sale and distribution, finance process, and integration of a logistic application ‘TMX SD’ which
covers all the essential requirements for performance evaluation as below:

• Order booking takes place through the mobile application.


• All records are updated on the web portal in real-time.
• Mobile devices track the movement of order bookers and give the actual reflection of the total time span of
customers.
• All customer locations are geotagged therefore order booking only works when order booker reach to the shop.
• Merchandizing functionality is also incorporated with guidelines which ease and improved the quality of work.
• This web portal also facilitates report sharing with the Principal on a daily basis.

Thus, the order booking and sale process running in a more effective manner.
