Terrestrial Biome

 A terrestrial biome is a land region on the earth's surface covered by biological communities that group
under the same climatic patterns like rainfall and temperature .

 The terrestrial tropical biome is composed of several different sub-biomes, including evergreen rainforest,
seasonal deciduous forest, tropical cloud forest, and mangrove forest. These sub-biomes develop due to
changes in seasonal patterns of rainfall, elevation and/or substrate.

 They are classified by latitude.

Tropical Forest Biome

 Tropical forests : have the highest biodiversity of all the terrestrial biomes and are
dominated by broad-leaved trees that form a dense upper canopy and also have epiphytes ,
which describes a plant grows on a host, but unlike a parasite, takes no nutrients from the
tree itself and relies on nutrients from the air, falling rain, and the compost that lies on tree
branches.

 Some animals : Chimpanzee, Gorillas

Tropical Grassland Biome

 Tropical Grasslands : have dry and wet seasons that remain warm all the time ,Tropical
grasslands, or savannas, are also the homes of primates in Africa and Asia . Moreover ,
they comprise a mixture of trees and grasses varying directly with the rainfall.

 Some animals : Lions, zebras , tigers

Tropical Desert Biome

 Tropical deserts : have the highest average daily temperature on the planet and have low
biodiversity and they are characterized by low amount of precipitation

 Some animals : Snakes , Lizards , Kangroos
