Project objective
This is a window application that would be developed on platform independent base and hence would be portable. It is intended to further simplify the work of people, by using their voice as an input. The system interprets the input, identifies the operators and operands. It then calculates and displays the result to the user. The functionality would be easy to understand and the system can be customized with the improvements in the technology.
For Who? Population with disabilities (limited hearing, vision, and movement) and general people to ease their work. Why create this Product? Existing products fail to adequately fulfill the needs of the population with disabilities, hands-free operation and are time consuming as compared to this product.
Highlighting features

Description
Language used: JAVA Speech recognition support: Microsoft Speech SDK 5.1 Library used: OXFORD
CALCULATOR
This is a two line display calculator having features: Scientific notation Floating point arithmetic Logarithmic functions, using both base 10 and base e trignometric functions (some including hyperbolic trignometry) exponential functions and roots beyond the square root. quick access to constants such as pi and e
This function inverses some functions used in our voice recognition calculator. Trigonometric functions are converted to their inverse functions with such an ease.
