and Special Groups


of Words
Sight Words are words we read many times
in stories and books. These can be very different
from the CVC and CVCC words we have learned
about. It is important to remember how to read
and spell sight words to read well.

We use special groups of words to name


shapes, colors, numbers, days, months, and
positions.
