way of communication and how his mode of communication is
effective in terms of

o How and why he captures his audience,

o The real message.

I chose the ‘Inch by Inch’ speech by Al Pacino from
the 1999 movie, ‘Any Given Sunday.’

It is a NFL based film where Pacino plays an aging

coach, Tony D’Amato. It is a speech that even people
not interested in American football like it as
describes the struggles not just in sport but in life.

The real message from this speech
is how we look at each other to
achieve as an individual and as a
team. How we can overcome
anything with the right attitude.

comes down to it, you are gonna do the same
thing for him.’
