BACKGROUND
MUDA BERKARYA VILLAGE OWNED BUSINESS (BUMDes MUDA
BERKARYA)

Has been established since 2021

The main aim of establishing a BUMDes in Jujun Village is to develop tourism and
entrepreneurial potential in the village
Jujun is one of the villages supported by Jambi University in the form of an
Integrated Laboratory Village

QUESTIONS
 What is the institutional effectiveness of BUMDes after several years of operation?

OBJECTIVES
 to analyze the institutional effectiveness of BUMDes after operating for several years
Time and Places
• About 7 month (April-November 2023)
• Jujun Village and Forest Management Laboratorium Forestry Department Jambi
University
Materials
• writing instruments (pens and books), voice recorders, cameras and
questionnaires
Methods
• Field data was collected using interview methods and distributing questionnaires. Respondents
for institutional effectiveness were BUMDes administrators and village officials. In-depth
interview techniques were also carried out with several key informants to obtain information in
accordance with the research objectives.

 CONCLUSION
BUMDes Muda Berkarya has not had an effective impact on village
income. There is a BUMDes management but it is not running well so
the business plan is not being implemented
