HOW TO MAKE A POINT GAME

Click on here to open the insert menu.

Then click here to pick on object.

I recommend picking a square to start with.

Make two squares. And click on one to open
the drawing menu. Click on that menu.
Change the color of one square. You can make
it nicer later.
With an object selected click on this menu to
open the object list tab. This is very useful for
editing.
Now over here change the names of your
objects.
Change the red box to 1 Point and the blue
box to 1 box.
If you select an object in one of my games and
open this window you’ll see the names of all
my objects. Its great for editing.
If you unselect one of these eyes it will make
the object invisible so you can change what is
under it without moving anything. You can
select it again to make the object reappear.
To add animation select 1 Box and open the
animation menu then pick the red (vanishing)
1 animation you want. I like fade.

3
Now add animation to 1 Point. Select it,
animation menu and a green animation
(appear). Again I like fade.

Next bit isn’t completely necessary but I like
it for point boxes. Select 1 Point again and add
a red Fade away animation to it.

3
Now select animation window to see a list of
your animations.
Select the 2nd animation and pick the one
under the mouse click option. This means the
animation will happen at the same time as the
above one.

Now select the second red one and select A.

This means this animation will happen after
the above one is complete.
Select it again and select timing.

Select here to change the timing from 0.5

seconds to 2 seconds so it will fade away
slowly. Not necessary but I like it.
Now shift select all three animations.

From the animation window select ‘open

timing’. Click timing and 1 box.
Now maybe add sound. Select first animation.
Select options.

Then select the sound you want to add. I like

chimes or coins for good points and bomb for
bad.
Now go into your draw menu and
design your box and points
however you like.

Or you can right click on the object

and change it into a picture you
have saved on your computer.
Now put the points on top of the
box. Shift select both and copy.

Then you select paste to create a

copy of both. You move that copy
to where you want on the screen.
And repeat until you have as many
boxes as you want.
I’d reopen the object menu and rename your objects for future editing.
Unselect all the points so you can edit the boxes.
Even change them into pictures.
After that select the points again so they reappear.
And change them to whatever points you like.
To make a question and answer banner.
Copy and paste one Box and one Point
onto another slide and change the names.
The lower one should be the question the
upper should be the answer.
Open the animation window again
and delete the last animation.
Edit until you like the style. The shift select and copy both.
Paste them onto your slide and move them so one is on top of the other.
Then when you need to change the question and answer. Open the object list and
unselect the answer box to see the question box. Make your changes and then
reselect the answer box and edit it too.
Copy and paste your slides and change the points around. Do
this as many times as you like. I find 8 to 12 questions if you
are using question boxes is plenty.
Plenty of other things you can do but these are the basics.

Hope it helps.
HOW TO ADD BOMBS
Copy one of your Point Boxes and find the art you want to use and copy them to
your powerpoint. Then click on one and use the object list to name them. I’d
rename the box to Bomb Box.
Now open the animation window. You’ll see the Bomb
Box already has its Fade away animation.
Click on the bomb and in the animation panel select the green fade in.
Then click on your explosion and select the animation ‘appear’.
Then click on your bomb again and click on the red animation for ‘clear’.
Finally click on your explosion again and select the red animation ‘fade’.
Open your animation window and it should like what you see at the bottom.
Shift select all the new animations and move them under the Bomb Box 1
animation trigger.
Select the first bomb animation and make it trigger at the
same time as the first animation.

Select the 1st explosion animation and make it trigger after

the previous animation is finished.
On the same animation select options and in the sound box
select the explosion sound.
Next select the next bomb animation and select for it to
happen at the same time as the above.

Finally select the last animation and select so it triggers

after the above animation.
If you stack the three images and play the side
clicking on the box it should work.

Then go to one of your point screen slides and

delete however many points and point boxes
you want.
Go back to your bomb slide select all three
images and copy them.
Paste the three images onto your slide and
change the letter or image of the box so it fits
in order.

Then stack them in place.

Repeat as needed.
