About Us
Nagcarlan has a relatively cool climate and is surrounded with plenty of lush
greenery. It's an upland town located at the foot of and even including sizable
portions of Mt. San Cristobal and Mt. Banahaw, both peaks providing a
beautiful backdrop for the town. Several cold mountain springs wind their way
down into town, providing suitable locations for the many spring resorts that
have sprouted up all over Nagcarlan.
It is actually a large municipality in terms of land area – all of 78 square
kilometers. It is not heavily populated. Its population as determined by the
2020 Census was 64,866.
A large section of the town is situated inside the Mt. Banahaw-Mt. San
Cristobal Protected Landscape and mountaineers use the town as a jump-off
point to several peaks in the area such as Mt. Mabilog and Mt. Kalisungan.
LANDING
POINT
The newest tourist destination in Nagcarlan,
Laguna. Landing Point is 8 kilometers from
the town center. Because of its beauty and
height that is almost at the foot of Mt.
Banahaw you can see the neighboring towns
of Nagcarlan. Let's taste the delicious air and

TIPACAN RIVER
The Historical river of Nagcarlan 2-3 kilometers away from Metro
Poblacion. It is said that the stones in this river were used to build
the Roman Catholic Church of Nagcarlan and Underground
Cemetery. A 15 feet high with a shallow catch basin, Enjoy the 15-
meter trek and Experience the hidden stones and adobe wall of
Tipacan River.
YAMBO LAKE
Yambo lake a quiet understated and alluring lake in Nagcarlan Province of
Laguna. A famous home to many natural and environmental sites. Yambo
lake describes itself as a pristine and tranquil place to relax and let go of
our soulful tensions. Also considered oligotrophic, and is suitable for
swimming, outings and picnics. And it has a normal surface area of 28.5
hectares.
PULANG LUPA
An Agri - Eco leisure park located at Brgy. Banilad, 5 kilometers away from Metro
Poblacion of Nagcarlan, Laguna. Enjoy the hiking trail and astonish to the magnificent
scenic landscape of Nagcarlan. Mesmerize a panoramic view and create lasting memories
at Pulang Lupa Hiking Trail.
NAGCARLAN Underground Cemetery of Nagcarlan, Laguna. It stands as unique
final resting place that has withstood the rest of time. An octagonal

UNDERGROUND campo santo that is enclosed by stone and brick walls. It was built in
1845 under the auspices of Franciscan Fr. Vicente Velloc. It is now
under National Historical Commission of the Philippines with 1
CEMETERY hectare and 276 niches.
BUNGA
FALLS
The twin waterfall of Nagcarlan, Laguna.
Located 4km away from Metro Poblacion
with 5-10 minutes trek down to the falls. It is
15 meter high with estimated 40 feet deep.
Its name is derived from "Bunga" plant or
"beetle nut" in English. Enjoy the unique
charm and cool crystal clear water while
relaxing in our bamboo cottages.
SAGILALA FALLS
Sagilala Falls of Nagcarlan, Laguna. Located at Brgy. Banilad 3kms away from Metro Poblacion. It may not possess the rush and splash of
the bigger Bunga Falls but its charm rests on the quality of its water-calm, pure and pristine. Away from the public encroachment. Its water
has remained the way nature has made it.
