Introduction
Roberto Nevilis is the man who
created homework!
I know some of you would be
wishing that he never existed,
same here! However he changed
the world forever!
THE GOOD SIDE

● Kids are having to practice topics at home.

● Kids will not be able to forget topics.

● Kids will be taught time management and

deadline management.

● In group projects, kids will learn conflict

management and cooperation.
THE BAD SIDE
(There’s a lot)

● Kids are not able to spend time with family and

friends.

● School work on the weekend reduces de-stressing

and fun time.

● Lots of stress piles up on the kids. That can lead to

problems in the future.(Related to point 1)

● Too much of it causes kids to burn out and show hate

to academics as they have been put under lots of
pressure
His Life Story
In 1905, an Italian teacher named
Roberto Nevilis invented the concept
of “homework.”
Originally, its purpose was to be
used as a punishment for students
who were lazy in class or for those
who were disobedient or rude to
their teacher.
Later, it got popular across the
world
