which a employer /Organization award to his employee who retires from duty /service after a prescribed period or he deserves for retirement according to rules /regulations of any Department. Classification of Pension 1. Compensation Pension: Compensation pension is granted to Wapda employee on a/c of abolition of his regular post without alternative suitable employment being provided to him. Classification of Pension 2. Invalid Pension: Invalid pension is awarded to such Wapda Employee who badily or mentally incapacitated for further service on production of medical certificate issued by Wapda Medical Board or invalid committed constituted by the authority. Classification of Pension 03. Disability Pension: Disability pension is granted to a Wapda employee due to disability during service duty with the condition that this disability is due to service in Wapda .This pension is passed on the recommendation of Wapda Medical Board. Classification of Pension 03 Retiring Pension A retiring pension is granted to a Wapda employee who not being eligible for superannuation pension. (I) Opts to retire after qualifying service or (ii) Compulsory retired from service by the Authority competent to remove from service on ground of misconduct , corruption or any other reason. Classification of Pension 04 Superannuation Pension:- A superannuation pension is granted to Wapda employee who retires from service on or after attaining the age of superannuation fixed by the Authority time to time. Classification of Pension 05-Family Pension:- I) In case of death of a Wapda Employee during service , Gratuity in lieu of ¼ of the gross pension will be allowed in addition to 75 % of the gross pension to the widow of deceased for the whole life till the condition of remarriage. ii) In case of death after retirement family pension is admissible to the widow @ 75 % of the pension. iii) In case of death of widow family pension is admissible to her daughter till her marriage or child up to age of 18 years. Calculation of Pension: Gross Pension= Qualifying service *Basic Pay *7/300 Commutation= Gross Pension *35*12*age factor 100. Net Pension= a) Gross pension*65/100 b) 15 % of Net pension (2010) c) 15 % of ( a+b )
