How to create email templates


In this presentation, you will learn how to create two email templates that you can then paste and
send directly to the signed clients, so they can complete the next steps.
Step 1 : Having a professional-looking gmail
You don’t have to necessarily use a business gmail, but if you do not have an image yet, you should
add one. Also, if the name of your gmail is not your name or is not a name that sounds legit, create
a new gmail.
Step 2 : Enabling templates
Go to gmail.com, and press on settings. Then, press on “See all settings”.
Then, go to “Advanced”, and enable “Templates”. After that click on “Save Changes”.
Step 3 : Having the necessary material
What you need to do next is have the material you will use in the emails on your computer. Here are
two files you must download :

File 1 : elevate_reach_media_hd.png
File 2 : contract-erm.pdf
Step 4 : Adding the files to your drive
In order to be able to post them in a gmail template, you must first add the files to your drive. So,
search for google drive, and then sign in into your account. After that, press on “New”.
Click on “File upload”, go to the location you downloaded the files, and add both of them to your drive.
Step 5 : Start creating the first email template
In gmail.com, press on Compose. Then, insert the following text:

Recipients : [clients_email]
Subject : Hey [clients_name]
Message :

Copy and paste message from here


After that, go to the location you downloaded the files in your computer (not your drive), and open
the “elevate_reach_media_hd.png” file. Right click on it, and press on Copy, and then Paste it in the
gmail template like this:
Now, press on the three points, and then go to “Templates”. Press on “Save draft as template”, and
then on “Save as new template”.
Save it by the name “Hey [clients_name]”
(Here is how the email should look like) :
Step 6 : Creating the second template
Press on Compose again, then, insert the following text:

Recipients : [clients_email]
Subject : Contract to sign
Message :

Respond to this message with the contract signed


Now, press on the drive icon, and from your drive, insert the file “contract-erm.pdf” .

Complete the same process as in Slide 11, saving the template as “Contract to sign”.
Now you have completed all the steps. To be able to create an email with these templates, you just
press on the three points, and in Templates you select one of them. The script will instruct you when
to send them to the client, and in what order.
