your qualification from the TESDA website (www.tesda.gov.ph).

Qualification- refers to the
group of competencies that
describes the different functions
of the qualification. This section

3. Trainee entry requirements;
4. Tools equipment and materials;
5. Training facilities;
6. Trainer’s qualification and
7. Institutional assessment.
Section 4: National Assessment and
Certification Arrangement - describes the
policies governing assessment and
certification procedure.

COMPETENCY STANDARD
WHAT IS A COMPETENCY
STANDARD ?
The Competency Standard is the main basis of
Competency-Based Training. All learning materials shall
be based on the assessment criteria of each
competency.

Supervised-Industry-Training or On-the-Job
Training is a training approach designed to enhance
the knowledge and skills of the trainee through actual
experience in the workplace. It, also, enables the
trainee to acquire specific competencies prescribed
in the training regulation.
Distance Learning is a formal education process in which
majority of the instruction occurs when the students and instructor
are not in the same place. Distance learning may employ
correspondence study, audio, video or computer technologies.
