Art Exhibition

Art exhibition is the act of di[playing creative

works of art by artist for show and sales to
satisfy, educate and beautification.
The various exhibitions we have seen had
been on display in museums, galleries of
both government and private
establishments.
Cultural co-operations from foreign
embassies has encouraged these embassies
to sponsors are the exhibition of hard
working artist works.
 Types of Exhibition
•Solo Exhibition: An
exhibition organized and
performed by one individual
artist.
•Joint Exhibition: An
exhibition organized and
performed by two or more
artist.
 Preparation for Art Exhibition
1. To have a successful outing in exhibiting work of art,
there must be a fairly long period of preparation at
least six (6) months
2. Host of the exhibition must take charge of the gallery
of museum room or stand. There efforts includes:
• Building of the stand frame where the works that
required hanging or mounting would be hooked or
placed.
• Labelling of works (Title and prize tag)
• Preparation of Brochure/Catalogue of works for
exhibition which includes, title of the exhibition,
stories about the event, the information and
photographs about the artists and their works
featured.
