Implications of virtual

reality:
 Virtual reality in health care is the
technology that allows the health officials to
simulate a situation or an experience of
interest using VR headset within an
interactive but computer-generator
environment.
 In health care, virtual reality can transport
you inside the human body to view an
access area otherwise impossible to reach.
 Virtual reality is used in multiple areas of
health care like medical training for both
doctors and student, patient treatments,
medical marketing and educating people
about a disease, process or medical
condition.
Augmented reality:
Augmented reality will allow surgeons to precisely
study their patient's anatomy by entering their
MRI data and CT scan into an AR headset and
overlay specific patient anatomy on top of their
body before actually going into surgery.
AR can be used to:
 Perform accurate and low risk surgeries
 Save time in the case of an emergency surgery
 Surgeons can have access to all of that,
information on their AR screen within seconds
What is
telemedicine?

 Telemedicine is the use of information

and communications technology (ICT) for
medical diagnosis and patient care.
 Telemedicine can deliver health-care
services, where distance may be the
critical factor.
 The telemedicine is the method of
teaching which is used to provide
education to the medical personnel
