Financial Analysis
• Search 2 years financial statement (Balance Sheet and Income Statement 2022 - 2023) of a
Vietnamese Company and prepare the following:
1. Company Background
- Short information about the name of the company, years of operation, location (head quarter and branches,
and products
2. Ratio Analysis for 2 years
- Compute the following ratios with formula and computation for each year, give the implications and your
analysis.
1. Liquidity Ratios
2. Asset Management Ratios
3. Debt Management Ratios
4. Profitability Ratios
- If there is any ratio that you cannot compute because of missing data in the financial statement then do not
compute the ratio.
3. Horizontal Analysis
- Compute (decrease and increase) – use table format
- Analyze horizontally by comparing the 2 years financial statements
4. Vertical Analysis
- Compute and analyze vertically (in percentages) by comparing each account to sales (100%), total assets
(100%), and total liabilities and stockholders equity (100%)
- Analyze by comparing vertically (%) the 2 years financial statements
