 1 Overview
• My internship began on the 14th of January at the KSPF office in KAFD.

King Salman Park Foundation (KSPF) is a non-profit organization that

oversees the development and management of King Salman Park (KSP), a
mega project that covers the area of 16.2 square kilometers in the heart of
Riyadh.

Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) , is the department that

coordinates and monitors the progress of all the projects within King Salman
Park Foundation (KSPF). It ensures that the projects are
aligned with the strategic objectives and vision of KSPF, that they
are delivered on time, on budget, with the required standards
And within compliance.
 2 Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance (QA)
Ensure all documents written by Project Managers meet established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and
performance.

- Project Coordinator
Support project manager with project management to ensure projects run smoothly. This includes scheduling and planning
meetings, communicating on behalf of the PM, documentation, and any other tasks requested by the PM.

One of the most challenging task/project I have worked on throughout my experience and was my main role was being a
project coordinator for 4 projects.
• As project coordinator I was responsible for coordinating the schedule, budget, issues, and risks of all the 4 projects.
• I ensured that the project management framework is well-organized and runs smoothly.
• I communicated with various departments, stakeholders, and vendors to define project requirements and objectives.
• Additionally, as a project coordinators I assisted the project managers with administrative tasks, such as organizing meetings,
managing documents.
All in all, I played a crucial role in supporting the project manager and ensuring the successful execution of the 4 project.
 5 Lessons Learned

 - The significance of thorough reviewing and attention to detail to ensure project success.

 - Meetings with my work supervisor provides valuable opportunities for personal and professional
development, including receiving feedback and building a supportive working relationship.

 6 Statement of Future Plans

Completing my internship at the King Salman Park Foundation has been an invaluable experience that has deeply
influenced my career aspirations and future plans. During my time here, I have gained extensive knowledge in project
management, while also cultivating essential professional skills and building a strong network.
Looking ahead, I plan to leverage the skills and experiences I have acquired to further my career. As I would like to
expand my experience and try consulting. My immediate goal is to secure a position where I can contribute to different
projects and engagements. I am particularly interested in roles that focus on expanding my experience, network, and
enhancing the skills I picked up through my internship duration.
Moreover, I plan to remain connected with the King Salman Park Foundation, contributing to its mission and projects
whenever possible. I look forward to opportunities where I can collaborate and support its future endeavors.
Overall, my internship has solidified my knowledge of project management, and I am excited to embark on this next
chapter of my professional journey with a clear vision and a strong foundation of skills and experiences.
