worry. You were trying to save us.

Setting: The ship, now in bad shape, facing challenges of leaks and
damaged engines
.Narrator: (reflecting) The ship can't reach Australia. We decide on
the nearest island, lle Amsterdam, a French Scientific base.

*Characters: Narrator, Jonathan, Family
Setting: Continuous struggle to pump water, repair, and survive.
Jonathan: (expressing determination) I don't fear death as long
as we're together.
