2023 Planned Strategic Activities
To hold 10 regional stakeholder engagement programs on Community Radio Stations and Local
television stations in all the 10 provincial capitals with an aim of sensitising all Associated
Authorities on the New Scheme Design once it is approved.

-This will be done in collaboration with mainly the Contributions and Benefits Dept as well as
the Strategy and Business Performance Department, who are charged with rolling out the New
Scheme Design.

Hold member recruitment campaigns targeted at new membership. With a positive outlook that LASF has
continued to hold, it is hoped that the amendment to the LASF Act will be effected and therefore the need to
enhance the member recruitment drive.

- Again the department will partner with the CBD to identify target member employees who will be
contributing to the new pension design once it is effected.

- The
Produce and circulate New brochures, incorporating new membership perimeters.

The current brochures available do not speak to the future outlook of LASF and so there is a need the department to
collaborate with other departments an come up with brochures that will capture the current state of the Fund.
- Procurement of Corporate Branded Materials (Corporate Wear, Corporate Diaries,
mementos for newly recruited members)

Rehabilitation of the Superannuation House with specific attention to the following

- Labelling Departments and Offices for easy access especially


for our external clients

- Set up easy access facilities into Superannuation House for all categories of clients with specific
consideration for the differently abled clients

- Please note that this activity will be undertaken in full collaboration with the Human Resources and
Administration Department
