Introductions
1. Simple Past: Questions is about making
sentences/questions using simple past.
2. There are 2 types of questions:
- Yes/No questions
- Wh- questions
Yes/No Questions
1. Questions that need yes/no for answers.
e.g:- Yes, he went to SK Seri Manjung.

2. The questions starts with the auxilary verb 'did'.


e.g:- Did he go to school?
Wh- Questions
1. Questions that starts with question words. (what,
when, where, who, why, how).
e.g:- What did you buy there?

2. Answers for Wh- questions starts without yes/no.


e.g:- I bought a pair of shoes.
Forming questions from
scrambled words.
1. The questions must starts with question word or
auxillary verb.
2. The end of the questions must have questions
mark(?).
e.g:- Where did he buy the watch?
- Did you eat my snacks?

*question word. *auxillary verb. *subject.


*main verb. *other words. *question mark.
Forming questions based on
answers.
1. The questions must starts with question words or
auxillary verb based on the answers.
2. The main verb must be changed to base form.
e.g:-
if the answer: He bought the shoes yesterday.
the question: When did he buy the shoes?

if the answer: No, she went to the shopping mall.


the question: Did she go to the amusement park?
