Adjectives
• Adjectives are describing words.
• It used to tell us more about something.
• It usually comes before the nouns or after be.
• example:
• The boy is tall.
• The cats are weak and thin.
• The blue ball is mine.
• Ali gave me this thick story book yesterday.
Comparative Adjectives
• Comparative adjectives are used to compare one
thing with another thing. (to compare 2 things)
• We add -er than or more ..... than to the
adjectives.
• example:
• Azman is taller than Ariff.
• Maria is more beautiful than Mary.
Superlative Adjectives
• Superlative Adjectives are used to compare 3 or
more things.
• usually we add -est at the end of the adjectives or
most before the adjectives.
• example:
• Ali is the tallest boy in my class.
• That is the most beautiful butterfly I've ever see.
