Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK)

 ASK is a type of Amplitude Modulation which represents the binary data in the
form of variations in the amplitude of a signal.

used in telecommunications to transmit digital information over a carrier wave by

varying the amplitude of the carrier signal.
Working Principle of ASK

 Amplitude Shift Keying works by representing digital data as variations in the

amplitude of the carrier signal. The carrier wave is typically a high-frequency
sinusoidal signal. The binary data stream is modulated onto the carrier wave by
changing the amplitude of the carrier wave to represent the digital 1s and 0s.
