KHP)
Introduction

• SKHP is a run-of-river (ROR) project with an installed capacity of 22 MW.

• It is located in the Pokhara Metropolitan City of Kaski District in Gandaki Province, Nepal.
• The proposed project lies between latitudes 28°05’00″N to 28°08’05″N and longitudes
84°00’15″E to 84°05’28″E.

KHP)
Objectives

• To carry out alternative study of the project.

• To study and analyze the hydrological data of Seti Khola.
• To carry out the hydraulic design of headworks, headrace tunnel, surge tank and
powerhouse.
• To choose the best possible alignment.
• To perform financial analysis.

Limitation
• Actual field measurements of discharge by current meter are not possible so
hydrological study would be based on data provided by host company.
• Only hydrological study and hydraulic analysis will be carried out.
