John 21:5-14
The disciples were so discouraged after fishing all night
that they didn’t recognize Jesus when they saw Him.
 They didn’t
realize it was
Jesus when He
spoke and called
them children,
nor did they
suspect it was
Jesus when He
told them to
throw their nets
out again, which
was something
Jesus had said to
them before.
But after they began to pull in their nets and saw that
they were heavy with fish, they knew it was He.
Any stranger walking by could have told them to throw out their nets
again, but only Jesus could command large fish to fill the nets!

JOHN, who refers to himself in His Gospel as

“the disciple whom Jesus loved.”

Why did catching so many large fish

help the disciples identify Jesus?
First, Jesus had done the very same thing before.
Second, catching so many large fish after a whole
night without catching anything was clearly a
miracle.

How did seeing Jesus eat, help the disciples

believe Jesus was really there in person?

They saw Jesus sat down and ate a meal.

It means only human can do it.

Good morning Lord Jesus, thank you for your caring to us.
You showed Your miracles to Your disciples. You also show Your works in our
lives. We ask for your help to have faith in You and thank You for making what
seems impossible come to life.
Lord Jesus, in this week we’re having Bookweek event. Help us to appreciate the
books around us. Especially Your Book that make us wiser day by day. We pray
for Ms.Vania who got accident. God please heal her. Bless the medicine she drinks
and the doctors who take care of her. Now, we want to have DEAR time and
continue the activity today. May you guide us, so we can be good boys and good
girls. Please also bless those who are sick, may You heal them.
