BRAKE PANEL
 Clearances Prior Lifting
• Between Sensor Cable and Phonic wheel:
226431/DTC, 226443/MC1, 226435/MC2, 226439/TC: 1.3 mm
(Recommended: 0.9mm-1.4mm)
• Between CP pin & bottom plate:
226431/DTC, 226443/MC1, 226435/MC2, 226439/TC: 15 mm
(Recommended: 20±1 mm)
Activities carried out

Lifting of Coach with the help of 25 T synchronous

Jacks after disengaging center pivot from Traction center
B01

Isolation cock
Parking Isolation for BC with vent
Cock

Isolation of Parking brake by isolating parking isolation cock

in B01 panel and BC and switching off MCB of parking
brake at electrical control panel and manual releasing parking
brake for free movement of rake
 BEFORE AFTER

Visual check of Brake pads for any uneven wear, check for Cleaning of differential valve
defective brake pad due to scorching of brake discs.
Stripping of Levelling valve and Fitment of overhauled levelling valve and
installation lever assembly Installation lever assembly
OLD NEW

Micromesh filter (Main Air Compressor) stripped

And replaced with new one
 BC hose
5/8”
replaced

Stripping & Fitment of 5/8” BC hose and 5/16” Parking hose

(replace if found damaged)
Bogie movement to TRML shop with the help of Mobile crane
as per requirement
BEFORE AFTER
Brake Caliper unit Cleaning at TRML shop
Pneumatic testing with the help of inhouse testing setup by
TEAM SHAKTI
 Applied Molykot-1000 to M16*80 and all
Lowering of coach over bogie (CP arrangement)
NL 16 washers changed with final torque 232 Nm
Visual check of BC 5/8” hoses and Parking 5/16” hoses if crack, head
Heavily corroded has been replaced.

After 01 unit formation, externally pneumatic supply given Brake Panel B02, EP Isolation Cock for bogie 1 & 2 isolated and
In MR and BP line for leakage test. B01 Air Spring EP Isolation Cock isolated And leakage test
conducted to check any hissing sound/leakage in MR & BP line.
