Throughout history, indigenous peoples have
been vital in the advancement of several
technologies and the preservation of science.
Indigenous science incorporates traditional
knowledge and indigenous perspectives. Their
survival depends on their knowledge about the
environment and many types of plates
including crop cultivation are enjoyed around
the world. Indigenous knowledge about the
medicinal properties of plants has contributed
greatly to pharmacological development.
