OUR GOALS

To make sure
To raise can goods to everyone has a good To attract enough
give to food shelters time, well helping out guests so we can
the community repeat the event
Why would this be good?

● This could be a fantastic food drive because it would allow me and

many other people to do what we enjoy while also helping those in
need.
● Through this drive I would be expressing the corporal act of mercy by
feeding the hungry. I would be expressing this act of mercy by
obtaining canned goods to donate to food banks or shelters so that
people can eat. and in addition to the direct advantages for the people
in our communities, the planet also gains significantly. Less unspoiled
food is thrown out, so less of it ends up in a landfill where it will
eventually go bad.
How does this relate? And how does it help?

Because it focuses on giving actual aid to those in need, a canned food drive can be viewed as a corporal act of mercy.
The requirements of others' physical and material demands are met by corporal acts of mercy. And so a canned food
drive involves collecting non-perishable food items and distributing them to individuals or families facing hunger or
food insecurity. This act addresses the immediate physical need for nourishment by providing food to those who may
not have access to an food supply. By organizing and participating in a canned food drive, individuals and
communities actively work to help hunger and ensure that the basic nutritional requirements of others are met.
