The following four TKI drugs are approved as first-line treatment for
chronic phase CML:
• Imatinib mesylate (Gleevec®)
• Dasatinib (Sprycel®)
• Nilotinib (Tasigna®)
• Bosutinib (Bosulif®)
• This means that the cancer cells can become resistant to the drug
and continue to grow and spread.
