Introduction
Green building is the practice of creating structures and
using processes that are environmentally responsible,
and resource-efficient. Countries such as China, India,
Canada has them.
Green building Index

Achieving points in areas such as energy efficiency, indoor

environment quality, materials and resources, sustainable site planning
and management, water efficiency, and innovation, will mean that the
building will likely be more environment-friendly.
Energy efficiency

Energy efficiency is the use of less energy to get the same job done,
and in the process, cutting energy bills and reducing pollution.
Energy efficiency rating and labeling

Energy efficiency label shows the estimated energy consumption of an

electrical equipment based on a star rating system; 5 star means the
most efficient, 1 star means the least efficient.
Green building in Malaysia

A certification system that advocates for transformation in the design, construction,

and operation of green buildings in Malaysia. Examples of green building in
Malaysia are the Bandar Rimbayu Township in Telok Panglima Garang and the
Bukit Bintang city centre in Kuala Lumpur.

Goals of green building in Malaysia:

 Efficiently using energy, water, and other resources.
 Protect the occupant health and improve the employee productivity.
 Reduce waste, pollution and environmental degradation.
Conclusion

The province of electricity should be promoted throughout the world

and low carbon living can bring many benefits to earth.
