Control Measures
• Always carry your valid license with you
• Follow the speed limit marked at roads
• Maintain proper distance with your front vehicle
• Overtake with utmost care
• Avoid overtaking in hilly/sloppy areas
• Understand and follow traffic signs and road
markings
• Never drive with alcoholism
Control Measures
• Follow manufacturers requirement
• Visually check that:
– Vehicle has filled with fuel
– Radiator filled with water
– Tyres inflated to correct pressure
– Brakes are serviceable
– Mirrors are cleaned
– Seat belts are in good condition
– Head lights are in working condition
– Side indication lamps are in working condition
Control Measures
• Park your vehicle in a safe place
• Hold your steering at 10:10 hr. position for
better control
• Have some rest after driving for about
2hrs.
• In case of vehicle break down in the road
ensure that indication post is used at the
front and rear of the vehicle
