I like to go on public transportation whenever I can. Of course, private transportation
is more comfortable public transportation in many ways. But I always feel more free
when I travel on a bus or a train. I don’t have to worry about parking and I can still go
wherever I want. Also, taking buses and trains is interestinger. You meet more people
and can spend more time enjoying the scenery. For me, this is much more relaxing
driving my own car. I also find that I travel more light when I don’t have my car, so
life is more simpler than when I have lots and lots of suitcases and things to carry.

OUTLINING: Write an outline for your essay in the form on
page 127. Decide if you want to use a similarities and
differences essay or a point - by - point essay. Use the
appropriate outline for the body paragraphs:
Introduction:
- Hook: I am always fascinated by how two friends can be so different
yet form an intriguing relationship. They are like two perfect puzzle
pieces with distinct characteristics, and it is this diversity that
enriches and makes our relationship so meaningful.

- Background information: I have two friends, there are H and N,

despite their differences in some their character, they still have a solid
relationship.

- Thesis statement: Therefore, I want to compare two of my friends.

Body paragraph 1:
-Topic sentence about similarities:
N is a patient person. Unlike H who can get angry
very easily, N is able to stay calm in almost every
situation.
- Details :
For example, two week ago, H, N and me waited for
another friend two hours because he got up late and got
stuck in traffic. During those two hours, H kind of lost his
temper and constantly complained while N was just

N is an active person and loves to communicate with people around him. On the other hand,
H has a more private lifestyle.

In every party or activity at school, N is always a volunteer to participate and always wants

together. Meanwhile, H seems more reserved, he only talks more freely and happily when
meeting his close friends like me and N.
Conclusion:
Overall, I think that each individual
has their own personality and
preferences, no one can be completely
the same as another person. As a result,
in friendship, sometimes they have
differences in personality or lifestyle,
but they still have a long - term
relationship.
