GROUP ACTIVITY
1. Look for 3 pictures of places in Ecuador that have the same characteristics as the pictures of this activity.
2. Describe each picture with landscape and cityscape vocabulary. Use adjectives to establish your opinions
about them. (…..a beautiful waterfall and ….a modern stadium…etc.)
3. Make a short presentation about the places you chose the pictures of.

2. Make a description of 3 things and 3 people from the place using relative pronouns.
3. Use PPT or any platform you are comfortable with to write the sentences in the picture as the following

WRITING: Volunteer travel

Next month, my friends and I will go to Lloa that is a parish


in Quito city for a week. We will go there with Juan who is
a resident from Lloa and 10 more people because we want
to make a house for a very poor family. In Lloa, the
weather is cold, rainy and foggy, but it is a beautiful valley
with waterfalls and streams, and it has a central park with a
fountain. We will make a house which has 2 rooms, a
kitchen, a bathroom and a living room. We will stay in
Gabriela’s house who is the family’s neighbor for the week,
and we will prepare our food in her kitchen. Finally, Lorena
and her 2 children that are the mentioned family will
receive a full-equipped kitchen and 2 beds that a
foundation in Quito donated.
