SL Travelogue 3 Taylor Harrison Huna
SL Travelogue 3 Taylor Harrison Huna
Enjoy healing & relaxation while discovering Hawaiian history & lore. All this while enjoying the beautiful Hawaiian scenery.
In the Welcome Center, you will be greeted with upbeat Hawaiian music, free leis, and information about the island.
You may receive an invitation to Holani, the Shamanic Healing Island. It is recommended you skip this, for only with special permission can you explore the island.
In front of you will be the Healing Center. You can give or receive massages or healing.
As you leave the Healing Center, you will see the market to your left.
On the other side of the market is the Hawaiian museum. Here you see pictures related to the gods.
Exit the museum and follow the signs for the cultural tour. As you take this tour, you will see information posts. Click on each post to learn more about traditional Hawaiian culture.
Inspiration Lagoon
Jump into the lagoon, stand on the center stone, and spin until you see a stone that calls to you.
Walk to the stone and touch it. A Hawaiian proverb will appear, with 3 possible solutions to your problem. Use your intuition to select the best one.
My proverb:
Don't assume that anyone has all the answers. Try looking at your situation from a different point of view. Seek more information from a new source.
Vegetation Many types of vegetation are available for exploration. The significance of each can be learned by touching the information posts.
Coconut trees
Banana patch
Taro patch
Kao trees
After you complete the cultural tour, take some time to enjoy the sights and explore the remainder of the island. Fly past a volcano! Sip some tea in a garden. Dip your toes into a pool.
Sit near a waterfall, or within the magical healing fires. You may even be lucky enough to spy a unicorn!
After all this exploration, wander on over to the bar and snag a free margarita.
Continue counterclockwise around the island & youll see youve completed the circuit.
You have once again arrived at the Welcome Center and main village.
Huna has something for everyone. Whether you use SecondLife as a place to learn about other cultures (as you might in a sociology class)
