The diagram highlights the various stages in
the process of changing a flat tyre.
It is clear that there are 14 steps which are
divided into 2 main stages in the complete
process, starting with the incident when the
tyre gets flat and ending with collecting all
the equipment once the work is done.
In the initial phase of the process, when the car
experiences a puncture while driving, drive off the
road in a safe place and take appropriate actions
to warn other drivers, such as turning on the
hazard lights. The essential equipment, such as a
spare tyre, jack, and wrench, should be prepared
before starting your work. After that, remove the
hub cap and loosen the wheel nuts, but do not
remove them yet. Then, use the jack to raise the
car until it is 15cm above the ground. Once this
step is complete, the wheel nuts and the old tyre
can now be removed.
In the subsequent stage, the spare tyre is
put on. Remember not to tighten all the
way. Following this, put the vehicle back
on the ground and thoroughly tighten
the wheel nuts by turning them in the
opposite directions from the ones
before. Finally, the process comes to an
end with the removal of all equipment
off the road before leaving.
