    A model of the earth


     The globe is a model of the Earth . The Earth is tilted on an imaginary axis like
    the globe.
    THE EARTH SPINS
    The Earth turns round and round or spins all the time on its axis.

    The Earth spins in an anti clockwise direction. This is the opposite way to the hands on a clock

    The Earth does one complete turn on its axis every 24 hours.
