• This product is made up of curd and cheese that come from cows, goats,
buffalos etc.
• 24kgs of cheese eaten per person each year!
• 95% of French people eat cheese.
• 50% of French people eat cheese every day.
• 5% of them have never tasted cheese!
HISTORY OF CHEESE

The history of cheese is linked to the evolution of our civilization. Cheese was
as an experiment or accident from the spoiled milk. Monks were the one who
taught farmers on how to take care of animals, and how to keep milk clean.
WHY IS CHEESE ESSENTIAL IN FRANCE?

• cheese usually along with wine - is one of the important


elements of a French meal.
• eating it for so long that they cannot imagine life without it.
• It's a part of their culinary culture and lifestyle.
Traditionally, you'll find that cheese is consumed after the
main course and before the dessert.
