“Chittaranjan Advanced Medical Referral
Institute” (CAMRI) is a unit of Burdwan
Diagnostic & Research Centre private Ltd. Was
established in the year 2001,Burdwan. It is
located on the NH2( G. T .Road) at
Bamchandaipur, Gangpur , Purba Burdwan. IT
is a 170 bedded multi-speciality hospital.

LEAVE POLICY
• Every organization has its own leave facility offer to the
employees. CAMRI offers the below mentioned leave facility
• Leave is not a matter of right.
• Sanctioning of leave is at Management discretion based on
exigencies of business or seriousness of the case.
• Leave year is from 1st April to 31st March.
• Eligible leave is credited to the employees on the 1st of April every
year.
• The different types of leaves given under the policy are:
• Casual Leave (CL) – 7 (Yearly)
• Medical Leave (ML) - 5 (Yearly)
• Earned Leave (EL) - 10 (yearly)
ABSENCE FROM DUTY

• When an employee takes off from duty without prior leave approval or proper
intimation under certain unavoidable circumstances, then those day/days will be
treated as absence from duty and termination of services may attracted.
• The days of absence will be treated under Loss of Pay.
• The employee has to report to his / her department head on rejoining duty from
absence and provide valid reasons for absence in writing before taking up work
again.
• If an employee is absent from duty continuously for more than 7 days (including
any National / Festival / Declared / weekly off days which may fall in-between), an
official correspondence from the HR department will be sent to him asking to
report to duty and to provide explanation for his absence.
• Based on the enquiry any action deemed fit would be taken by the management.
• If there is no response from the employee within the stipulated time mentioned in
official correspondence, it would be assumed that the employee has withdrawn his
service from the company on his own accord and recorded accordingly.
Discipline, Rules & Regulations for
Employees Of CAMRI
• Discipline is a set of rules or methods and a state of order based on submission to rules and authority by
controlled behavior resulting from disciplinary training and self – control.

• The following are discipline which are followed by the HR of the CAMRI HOSPITAL:-

• Every employee must take adequate precaution under safety.


• Every employee must obey and respect their superior as well as their juniors and colleagues.
• No employee is allowed to use office phones for personal calls except on emergencies by taking prior
permission from the top management.
• Every employee must control the day – to – day Company Cost.
• No employee is allowed to loiter unnecessarily in the corridor and in the other departments.
• No employee is allowed to assemble within the office premises for unofficial discussion.
• No. employee is allowed to take leave without submitting the leave application from, or, without prior
approval / intimation to the HR department.
• Any leave without sanctioned is treated as “Unauthorized Leave”.
• The employees taking leave without prior approval / intimation will be treated as “Without Pay”.
• In case of Sick leave / emergency, the concerned employee has to submit the leave application along with
the relevant documents (Medical certificate, Prescription) on the date of joining.
• Every employee has to maintain proper uniform within the office premises and outside on official duty.
Jeans and casual dress is not allowed in any circumstances. Loud make – up will not be permissible in case
of female employees.
Don’ts for the employee

• 1.None of the employee is allowed to behave rudely with patients, patient parties or any other
employee.
• 2.None of employee is allowed to take any tips/ bribes from patients or patient parties.
• 3.Do not enter into the work station without proper uniform according to the dress code.
• 4.Do not enter into any work area unless you are in duty.
• 5.None of the employee is allowed to loiter inside the hospital premises during duty hours without any
proper reason.
• 6.None of the employee is allowed to wear flipflop sandals or kitos etc.
• 7.Hair of unnatural colours such as green, red, purple, golden etc. is strictly prohibited.
• 8.None of the employee is allowed to wear any heavy or gorgeous cosmetic jewellary and ear rings
should be push-top.
• 9.Female employees can not leave their hair open.
• 10.Hospital properties can not be used for employee’s personal need.
• 11.None of the employee has the right to keep any hospital belongings (such as medicine, machinery,
pen, pencil, eraser etc.) to them.
• 12.None of the employee is permitted to wear any dress which is not formal like jeans, T-shirt etc.
• 13.None of the employee has the right to damage any hospital property.
• 14.Don’t produce any unauthorised comment or statement related to patient and their attendants to
the patient party.

• Right to Privacy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:-
• To be punctual to work.
• Avoid absence & late coming on duty.
• To maintain discipline.
• To know the patients rights & responsibilities and to
protect them.
