• Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bhutan's economy


has declined significantly.
• There was a -3.4% shrink during the COVID-19
pandemic.
• The World Bank has predicted that Bhutan’s
economy will rebound to 4.9% in the FY 2023-24 on
the 3rd of May 2024.

• Unemployment
• Fall in GDP

manufacturing activities, particularly in
