 Itinerary Part 1
T IM E ACT I VI T Y NAM E ACTIVITY EXPL INATION

For the first 10 minutes after the bell rings we say a

8:13-8:30 Prayer then Backpack Check few prayers before we ask students if they have a good
amount of water and food to be able to go on the trip.

8:30-9:00 Travel The amount of time the bus takes to get to the area.

9:00-9:15 Arrival Everyone arrives at the designated hiking spot.

Students will be given a sheet of paper to create a

“bad” drawing of an interesting animal/plant that they
have personally seen in the wild and explain what it is
to another person while this person tries to guess.
9:15-9:45 Icebreaker/Get ready for Hike
After the students are done with the icebreaker they
will get ready for the hike/trail. Students will be
expected to bring their lunches and have plenty of
water for the hike ahead.

Students and teachers will be following a guide up a

small mountain wherein they will take breaks every 20

This activity will require the students to make an

animal/plant they saw on the trail out of an assortment
12:50-1:40 Create an animal/plant out of natural objects. of pinecones, leaves, plant stems, and much more.
They will then glue these objects onto a piece of paper
to try and mimic the shape of the animal/plant.

This is the time that it would take to go back to the

Dear Heavenly Father, We beg for your forgiveness for
we have destroyed your beautiful creations. We
apologize for the beautiful flowers, and trees we have
disgraced with our greed. Bless our souls and teach us
to appreciate the elegance of your creation. Drive us
away from ourselves and give us the power to see our
mistakes.

Bible Verse 2:

skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day
they pour forth speech; night after night they display

voice is not heard.
Ending Prayer:

God thank you for all that you’ve provided us. We pray
that you continue to give us your blessings and that
your creations are safe.
