 RULES FOR THE CLASS

✗ You only have 5 minutes of tolerance.

✗ Each hour will count as an attendance. If you are late
you are allow to have just 1 attendance.
✗ If you miss school you have to keep up with the work
we did in class.
✗ The material and activities will be in the platform.
✗ The material such as presentations will be uploaded
the day after our class, never before or during the
sessions.
 RULES FOR THE CLASS
✗ The activities done during our class will be uploaded into the
platform as evidence and will be graded as homework.
✗ Any activity that is not signed for the teacher will not be counted
for the grade.
✗ Any copied activity (similar answers in open activities) will not
be graded. This is also applyable for quizzes, oral and written
exams.
✗ Late work will not be accepted under any circumstances. If you
forgot to upload your evidences, avoid asking if you can turn it in
later, cuz de answer will be NO.
✗ There is zero tolerance of bullying or disrespect inside the
classroom. In case this happens you will be removed from the
class and your activities of the day won’t be signed.
 RULES FOR THE CLASS
✗ Your participation MUST BE in English.
✗ Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.
✗ Take notes and always pay attention.
✗ If you have doubts, ask!
✗ You can justify an absence only if the coordinator tells me to do
so.
✗ Work during the entire course, if you turn in your activities and
study for the exams, you will pass the class.
✗ I do not give extra oportunities, nor leave extra work at the end
of the term or the course. There is not “recuperación” in my
class.
 EVALUATION
✗ WRITTEN EXAM: 40%
✗ ORAL EXAM: 30%
✗ EVIDENCES/HOMEWORK: 20%
✗ PARTICIPATION: 10%

Note: Your grade must be signed by you at the end of

the term.
Depending on the activities we do during the term is the way
we are going to grade. So, these percentages can change. The
teacher will always let you know if any changes will apply
during the course.
EXAM DATE
1ST TERM June 19th
 HOW TO TURN IN YOUR EVIDENCES IN THE
PLATFORM.
✗ In a Word document, write your full name at the top.
✗ Follow by the title where you will indicate the unit and week the evidences are
related to, followed by the topic.
For example:
• Unit 1, week 1 evidences: Verb to be.
• Unit 2, week 4 evidences: Simple present.
• Unit 3, week 2 evidences: simple past.
✗ After the title you will paste the pictures of the activities you did during class.
✗ The pictures must be organized in the same order the teacher will indicate in the
instructions of the homework.
✗ REMEMBER: all activities must be signed by the teacher to be graded.
✗ The pictures you use must be CLEAR, if I can’t see anything, the activity won’t
be graded even if it is signed.
