NEURO-LINGUISTIC

PROGRAMMING (NLP)

REPROGRAMMING YOUR MIND FOR

SUCCESS
WHAT IS NLP?

•NLP is the study of how our neurology (brain),

language (linguistics), and programming (behavioral
patterns) interact.
•It explores how we process information from the
world around us and how our thoughts and language
influence our behavior.
•NLP is not about mind control, but rather self-
awareness and creating positive change.

• THE CORE BELIEFS OF NLP

The map is not the territory: Our perception of reality is not
reality itself.

We have all the resources we need: We possess the skills

and abilities to achieve our goals.

Our behavior is a choice: We are not victims of our

circumstances, we can choose our responses.

Communication is a two-way street: Effective

communication is about understanding and being
understood
BENEFITS OF NLP

•Increased self-awareness and confidence

•Improved communication skills
•Enhanced emotional intelligence
•Setting and achieving goals more effectively
•Overcoming fears and limiting beliefs
•Building stronger relationships
NLP TECHNIQUES FOR EVERYDAY USE

• Anchoring: Linking a positive emotion to a physical sensation for future

use.
• Metaphors and Reframing: Using metaphors to shift perspective and
reframe negative situations.
• Presuppositions: Assuming positive outcomes to create a self-fulfilling
prophecy.
• Milton Model Language: Using ambiguous language to plant seeds of
suggestion.
• Sensory Acuity: Heightening your awareness of sensory details in
communication.

USING ANCHORING

•Imagine a situation where you want to feel confident, like during a job interview.

•Recall a past experience where you felt extremely confident and successful.

•Vividly recreate the memory in your mind, including the sights, sounds, smells, and body sensations.

•While reliving this memory, perform a specific anchor, like squeezing your thumb and index finger
together.
•Repeat this process a few times, associating the feeling of confidence with the anchor.

•In the future, when facing a similar situation, simply use the anchor (squeezing your fingers) to trigger
the feeling of confidence.
NLP AND
COMMUNICATION
•NLP emphasizes active listening and mirroring
to build rapport.

•Matching the other person's posture, language,

and tone can create a sense of connection.

•Using open-ended questions encourages

deeper conversation and understanding.
