WHAT is research findings?

The principal outcomes of a research project;
what the project suggested, revealed or
indicated. This usually refers to the totality of
outcomes, rather than the conclusions or
recommendations drawn from them.
c. “Sharing the Findings”

WHY is it important to share research findings?

Research is not done just for the sake of doing the research. It has to
be shared in order to really help bring about change or to improve
people’s lives.

Data sharing encourages more connection and collaboration

between researchers, which can result
in important new findings within the field.

Data sharing allows researchers to build upon the work of others

rather than repeat already existing research.
c. “Sharing the Findings”

WHO share the findings?

Answer: The researcher

TO WHOM should you share the findings?

It is highly recommended that you share your findings with the
research participants.
c. “Sharing the Findings”

share the findings.
c. “Sharing the Findings”
WHERE and HOW to share the findings?
“Five possible ways to share the research findings.”
1. It is highly recommended that you share your findings with the research participants. If
they are not highly educated people, you may have to synthesize the findings in simple
language and the recommendations on half a page of pamphlet

2. You can have a presentation in your class or at your school. You will get to share your
findings with the people that you know. You can also prepare a small pamphlet that
you can distribute during the presentation.

3. You can submit an abstract a QLR conference so that, if it is accepted, you can present
it there. One such conference is organized by the Asian Qualitative Research
Association in the Philippines

4. You can try to get the synthesis of your completed report published . You can publish a
short synthesis in your school magazine, a local newspaper, or on a blog. You can even
share that short summary on your social media accounts.

5. You can try to get the whole research report published in scholarly journals.
