Project Name: WHAT’S NEXT CAREER GUIDANCE SYSTEM
Type of Application: Web Applications
Project Description: The Career Guidance System is an intelligent web-based application that aims to
help high school students make informed decisions about their future career
choices. The system provides comprehensive guidance and counseling services to
students who are about to complete their 12th grade and are exploring different
career options. The Career Guidance System is user-friendly and accessible from
any device with an internet connection. It is designed to be intuitive and easy to
use, even for students who are not tech-savvy.

Introduction to tools
 Frontend:
□ HTML:
HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language. It is used to design web pages
using a markup language.

□ Bootstrap:
Bootstrap is the most popular HTML, CSS and JavaScript framework for
developing a responsive and mobile friendly website. It is absolutely free to download and
use.
 Backend:
□ PHP:
PHP is a server-side scripting language, which is used to design the dynamic
web
applications with MySQL database. It handles dynamic content, database as well as session

tracking for the website.

□ Java script:
All popular web browsers support JavaScript as they provide built-in execution
environments. JavaScript follow the syntax and structure of the c programming language.

System Study
o Exiting System:
Having studies about existing system, right now some students are forced by his/her parents to take any felid
based on current trend or what is going on in society rather than depending on their interest. At the other side
some students even don’t know about available courses after taking any field & what could be their future
after that course. They just study in pressure, with trends, going with friends’ interest rather than focusing on
their personal interest.

o Proposed System:
Our proposed system is aimed for making easy choice for student to find their course according to his/her
interest. We added data of so many courses and their rough idea about fees and future in that course so that
student can choose their course according their passion and interest. Since the system is a web base
application, data of the system is stored in MYSQL database and displayed in the interface. & it is easy for
student to make their decision.
